What’s the difference between a Shell Scheme stand and a Space Only stand?+
Shell Scheme stands include:
- Grey carpet
- White Foamex walling (height limit within the stand is 2.43m)
- 1 x 500w socket
- 2 x spotlights
- Name board with company name and stand number
Your shell scheme stand does NOT include any furniture, graphics, dedicated Wi-Fi or accessories. If you require any of these please access the Operations Manual and contact our official suppliers.
Space only stands include the floor space ONLY.
No carpet, walling, stand fittings or electrics are provided (unless otherwise agreed) and you are responsible for organising all of this at your own cost. The design of your stand is your responsibility and must be such that it can be erected and dismantled within the time available.
All space only exhibitors are required to submit a suitable method statement and risk assessment with their stand designs, detailing the processes by which the stand will be built and will operate. Please see the Operations Manual for further information.
Is it too late to order my exhibitor badges?+
No, you will be able to register for your exhibitor badges via the Operations Manual under the “Exhibitor badges & contractor wristbands tab.”
If you have not received your badges or you have lost/misplaced them, you can collect them onsite from 2pm during build-up or from 8am on show morning from registration.
Where can I order a badge scanner and where do I collect it from onsite? +
If you have already ordered a badge scanner these can be collected onsite from the registration desk. If you would like to purchase a badge scanner, you may do so through the Operations Manual via the Supplier tab.
Is there Wi-Fi available inside the hall?+
Free Wi-Fi is available across ExCeL. This free service is suitable for very basic internet requirements only. The wireless network is not secure, and not supported. If you are relying on a strong internet connection then we do recommend ordering additional internet. Please see the Operations Manual for more information.
How do I get stand materials delivered/collected to and from the show? +
You will find the delivery note in the Operations Manual – please use this for all deliveries.

Please do ensure that you adhere to the above delivery/collection times and that you also have a representative onsite to sign for any materials being delivered. Neither the venue nor the organisers can sign or accept any deliveries on exhibitors’ behalf. Any deliveries/collections made outside of your tenancy hours will have to be arranged and paid for with GES (our official on-site logistics supplier – please see the Operations Manual for more details)
Do I need to wear a HiVis jacket onsite?+
Yes, if you forget to bring a High Vis vest then you can collect one from a member of security on entry, but we would advise brining your own due to limited supply.
I am only bringing a couple of things for my stand; can I arrive on show open morning to set up my stand?+
We strongly recommend you take advantage of the extra time and set up on the 29th (space only) or the 30th September (space only & shell scheme) to ensure that your stand is ready for show open when visitors will enter the exhibition hall. You can arrive on the 1st October (show morning) from 8am but please note that you will only have 1 hour until the show opens, and external factors such as traffic or public transport issues could affect your journey.
Is there a cloakroom at the show?+
There is a cloakroom available on level zero which is down the stairs located between entrances N4 and S4. There will be a charge of £1 per item for coats and luggage.
Will there be any accessible storage for exhibitors during the show?+
Unfortunately, we do not supply any exhibitor storage, but we are more than happy for you to use our onsite storage supplier, GES. You can find their contact details in the Supplier forms tab in the Operations Manual. There will be a cost for this service.
Can I leave my boxes to be collected on the day after the show?+
It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to remove all stand materials, packaging and waste from the hall. Any items not removed by 20:00 on 2nd October 2019 will be removed and disposed of, and the removal charge will be passed onto the exhibitor.
Can I give away food samples on my stand?+
Any food or drink consumed on the stand should be purchased through Excel Catering. They hold the sole right to supply all food and beverages consumed onsite. If you would like to bring in your own food or drink, you should speak to the organisers directly as there may be a corkage charge. If you are intending on holding a demonstration on your stand please also inform the organiser as allergy, hygiene and food certificates will need to be provided.
