  • Can I transfer my visitor pass to a colleague?

    If you wish to give your visitor pass to a colleague please email [email protected] and include the following information:

    • Your full name and email address that you used to register
    • Your colleagues first and last name
    • Your colleague’s job title
    • Your colleague’s organisation
    • Your colleague’s email address

    Please note; we will be unable to transfer your registration to a colleague unless your colleague is CC’d in your email.

  • Can I cancel my booking?

    If you wish to cancel your booking please contact [email protected]. In your email please include your contact details and the email address that you use to register for your pass.

  • What do I do if I can no longer attend?

    If you can no longer attend HETT Show but have already received your visitor pass, please email [email protected] to cancel your physical registration.

    Please note, that if you cancel your physical registration you will still be able to access HETT Connect, our online matchmaking platform so that you can take part in meaningful conversations and make important connections. If you wish to cancel your full pass please make this clear in your email.

  • Can students attend HETT?

    Students can attend HETT to take advantage of the CPD-certified sessions, however, you will have limited interactive feature access. To request a student pass please register your details here.

  • What is CPD?

    CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities.

    CPD enables learning to become conscious and proactive, rather than passive and reactive. CPD is the holistic commitment of professionals towards the enhancement of personal skills and proficiency throughout their careers, offering an opportunity for an individual to improve and have effective professional development.

  • When will I receive my CPD Certificate?

    After the event, it can take up to 30 days for us to process the CPD information. We will do our best to get your certificates to you as quickly as possible and thank you in advance for your patience.

  • How many CPD points can I gain from attending?

    In total, HETT offers over 40 hours of CPD certified content split across multiple theatres during the 2-day event.

    You will be scanned on entry to the sessions that you attend so that we can track the number of CPD points you have collected during your visit. Unless you can be in two theatres at once (if so, please share your secret with us!) we would estimate a maximum of 12 CPD points for attending the two-day event.

    It can take up to 30 days to process the CPD information. We will do our best to get your certificates to you as quickly as possible and are grateful for your patience.

  • Can I transfer my paid pass if I no longer can attend?

    Transfers are available if you cannot attend HETT Show. However, if the transfer subsequently turned into a cancellation, the delegate would be subject to the cancellation terms.
  • Can I get a refund?

    This information is relevant to paid passes only.

    Cancellations must be received in writing by replying to the booking confirmation email a minimum of 30 days before the date of the conference. Cancellations will be subject to a £99+ VAT administration fee per delegate for all paid passes.

    Cancellations received after this time or not put in writing will be subject to the full delegate fee, which will also be charged in the event of non-attendance. Substitutions may be made at any time by replying to the booking confirmation email. 

  • How much does the event cost to attend?

    This event is free to attend for those working in the NHS, the care sector, local government, charities, academia, the wider public sector or independent healthcare providers. Click here to register for your free pass.

  • What cloakroom facilities will be available?

    We advise that you limit what you bring in terms of bags and luggage, as cloakroom facilities may be limited.

  • What signage will be in place?

    Signage displaying key messages, in line with the latest government advice, will be in place throughout the ExCeL. Reminders to regularly wash hands, not exchange business cards, and refrain from personal greetings (a handshake or a hug) will be in place throughout the ExCeL. Relevant markers and one-way systems will be installed in public areas, including the central boulevard, toilets, lifts, and cloakrooms, to help everyone keep a safe distance.

  • Is there free WiFi?

    The ExCeL offers free, fast WiFi which is suitable for browsing, social media, and email. When you arrive at the venue, you just need to sign in to ‘_ExCeL FREE Wi-Fi’ using their standard login, or via LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter.

  • What are the options for eating and drinking onsite?

    ExCeL London has over 40 onsite cafés, bars and restaurants, including numerous concessions within the venue itself. There are restaurants with table service for more formal dining as well as grab and go options.

  • What are the show dates, opening hours and venue?

  • Are face coverings mandatory?

    Following governmental guidance, face coverings must be worn in exhibition centers. We will have a face mask available at show entry for every attendee. As always, there will be some areas that you will be allowed to temporarily remove your face mask. If these rules are updated by the Government before the event we will update all attendees with any changes in relation to the requirement for face coverings.

  • How will ExCeL manage ventilation?

    Ventilation will be increased, improving fresh air circulation in line with the latest CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) guidance and recommendations. The ExCeL has altered its air handling units to draw in the fresh air, as opposed to recirculating air.

  • What is the ExCeL cleaning regime?

    To ensure the safety of all, the ExCeL have introduced enhanced deep-cleaning measures, with an additional focus on high-frequency touch points, such as lifts, counters, toilets, doors, seating, meeting areas and hand rails.

    The ExCeL Cleaning Team has new cleaning procedures that include ensuring all touchpoints, are regularly wiped with chlorine-based cleaning fluid. Those attending HETT Show will have allocated bathrooms, checked and maintained by a dedicated team of cleaners.

  • Will there be temperature checking?

    If you have access to a thermometer, we highly recommend taking your temperature before arriving at the venue. If you have a reading higher than 37.5°C or any COVID-19 symptoms, we politely request that you refrain from visiting our show.

  • Will ExCeL provide sanitiser stations?

    Hand sanitisers will be provided throughout the public areas of the ExCeL

  • How will catering operate?

    Hospitality, stand catering and retail services will be provided in line with the latest government guidance, working closely with ExCeL London Hospitality and the boulevard retailers. To help maintain social distancing, additional retail units will be open across the venue. Suitable queuing systems will also be in place. Menus have been reviewed and no open products will be served. All transactions for food and beverage will be cashless. Food preparation areas will be regularly inspected and a new ‘COVID-19 safe to trade audit’ has been introduced.

  • Add us to your safe senders’ list

    To ensure that our emails are recognised and land in the correct inbox, you can follow these simple steps to amend your settings:

    Outlook Desktop

    • Right-click our email in your Inbox email list pane
    • On the menu displayed move your mouse over or tap Junk
    • Click or tap on ‘Never block sender’ in the menu that rolls out
    • The resulting popup will say: ‘The sender of the selected message has been added to your Safe Senders List.’
    • Click ‘OK’

    Outlook Web

    • Open the email from …
    • Click the “Wait it’s safe” link
    • Mark Sender as “Wait it’s safe!

    iPhone Mail App (iOS)

    • Open your mail app and scroll down to the Junk Folder
    • Find the email you’d like to whitelist and slide your finger left to see options
    • Tap the ‘More’ button, and then ‘Mark…’ button
    • Select “Mark as Not Junk”
    • This will then move the email to your Inbox and any mail from this address will go straight to your inbox and not your Junk

    Google (G-suite)

    • Navigate to the spam folder
    • Search for emails containing the domain you wish to whitelist
    • Select all the emails shown
    • Click ‘More’ and then ‘Not spam’
  • How can I make a complaint?

    Please email [email protected] and detail your complaint and contact details. We will respond to your complaint within 5 working days.

  • How can I give my feedback?

    At the end of the event, you will be contacted by our Customer Experience team with a short survey. If you would like to give feedback in the meantime, please email [email protected].

  • Can the Press attend HETT?

    It’s free to attend for anyone working in the Press. However, we ask that the brand ‘Healthcare Excellence Through Technology/HETT’ is referenced in all post-event write up’s, and that a link to the asset is sent to the HETT marketing team by email to [email protected].

  • What health and safety measures will there be at HETT Show?

    We currently have several options lined up and ready to go and these include testing before event attendance, visitors providing proof of vaccination, temperature checks and health questionnaires. Ultimately, what measures we take on-site will depend on the requirements set by the UK government after the event pilots they have run recently. We understand currently the UK is due to remove all lockdown restrictions on 19th July, the events pilots have gone well and we will have solid guidance from the UK government on what measures we should put in place. You can rest assured we take the health of our attendees (visitors and sponsors) very seriously and we will have measures (probably that go beyond government guidance) in place to protect all HETT Show visitors.
