Rahul Bharat graduated from the University of Calcutta, India in 2003. After paediatric training in Kent, Yorkshire, and London, he completed his Certificate of Completion of Training in the East of England. He worked in paediatric Neurology and Epilepsy at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge where he was one of the first trainees to complete the Paediatric SPIN.
He has designed software to identify children with neurodevelopmental problems in India. This also provides a digital platform for training paediatricians, psychologists, and schools to identify and advise. He is supported by the innovation team at RCHT to pilot a digital solution for children and parents with neurodisability.
He specialises in paediatric epilepsy and is interested in children’s movement disorders. He covers Bodmin, Launceston, and the Bude area for neurodisability. He is involved in teaching, audits, and research.
