Dr Reuben Benjamin is a consultant haematologist at Kings College Hospital, London and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Kings College, University of London. He has an interest in multiple myeloma, stem cell transplantation and cell therapy. He is currently the lead for the plasma cell disorder service (which includes MGUS and myeloma) as well as the CAR-T (chimeric antigen receptor) programme at King’s College Hospital, London. King’s College Hospital is the tertiary referral centre for a catchment population of 5 million in South London and South East England. He has been instrumental in planning the Ascelus Haematology NIHR i4i Challenge project and leads the Clinical Validation Study. Dr Benjamin has led many clinical trials in haematology and has published widely on myeloma, MGUS and related conditions.
