Dr. Ben Rogers is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Trust Lead for Psychological Interventions at Worcestershire Health and Care Trust. Having worked in psychology within NHS settings for over 20 years, Ben specialises in work with children and young people with a range of mental health and neurodevelopmental needs. Ben is passionate about participation and working collaboratively with service users of all ages to develop new services, resources and interventions. He is particularly interested in how organisations and communities can work together to develop cultures, digital innovations and social movements which promote emotional wellbeing and positive mental health. Ben has led on projects which have brought new digital solutions to the recording of trust-wide information such as clinical supervision and service-wide information such as mental health outcomes in young people’s mental health. He is the clinical lead for the collaboratively designed, online ‘BESTIE’ resource in Worcestershire Health and Care Trust, which recently won the MidTECH award for ‘Best NHS-Developed Innovation’. Ben has recently been shortlisted for the HSJ’s clinical leader of the year award 2019 for his work in this field.
