Heather has worked for over 21 years as a nurse, systemic psychotherapist and strategic leader in the mental health, acute health and supported housing sectors. She received her Registered Nursing higher education qualification at the University of North London in partnership with the North London Joint College of Health Studies. She later received her Masters of Science in Family, Couple and Systemic Psychotherapy at the Institute of Family Therapy and Birkbeck (University of London); the latter of which she is an active and charitable alumna. She has built an unquestionable track record in delivering hospital and community-based programmes in the health, art, employment and education sectors both in the UK and abroad.
During her previous role as the Executive Chief Nurse of Ashford and St. Peter’s NHS FT she received national recognition and rewards for innovations and research in compassionate care of both staff and patients.
