Travelling by train

Rail tickets can be booked via the following links — tickets are usually released 12 weeks from the date of travel and booking early can save you money! Tickets can be booked via National Rail or Trainline.

Eurostar

Eurostar operates regular train services from Brussels and Paris to St Pancras International. For bookings or more information please visit the Eurostar website.

London Underground and DLR

DLR (Docklands Light Railway)

The Docklands Light Railway (known as the DLR) is part of the London Underground network. The nearest station to the ExCeL, London is Custom House. Trains pull up at a covered walkway leaving visitors with less than a two-minute walk to the entrance.

Check your event listing for the entrance for your event. Alight at Custom House for the west entrance.

London Underground

The Jubilee Line, Elizabeth Line, and the DLR are the quickest routes to ExCeL London.

Alight at Canning Town on the Jubilee Line and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR train for the quick two-stop journey to ExCeL: Custom House for ExCeL (for the west entrance).

London Overground

The London Overground, part of the London Underground network, serves a large part of Greater London and parts of Hertfordshire with 112 stations on several routes. The Overground is highlighted in Orange on the Tube map.

The DLR and Jubilee Line can be connected from multiple Overground lines such as Stratford, Canada Water, and Shadwell. It’s also possible to join the Overground and travel to ExCeL London from Euston station.

Travelling by car

If you’re arriving via the M11, the North Circular (A406) or the A13, as you get closer to ExCeL you’ll pick up signs for Royal Docks, City Airport and ExCeL London. If you’re using satellite navigation please enter the postcodes on the right.

There are 3,070 parking spaces across three car parks. The Orange car park (under the main venue), the Royal Victoria multi-storey car park, and the East car park (check whether this is in use for your event). All on-site parking is pay and display and costs £20 for up to 24 hours.

There are clearly marked disabled parking bays in the Orange car park (the car park closest to the venue) and the Royal Victoria multi-storey car park.

Travelling by bike

ExCeL London has free to use cycle racks located at the west entrance taxi drop off point just underneath the DLR walkway. The cycle racks are also available near the east entrance underneath the stairway connecting Level 0 to Level 1. Check cycling routes for all or part of your journey on TfL Go app.

The ExCeL is very close to the cycle superhighway route CS3 which runs from Barking to Tower Gateway. Click here for a PDF of cycle superhighway 3.

You can take your bike on the DLR during off-peak times Monday to Friday until 07:30, between 09:30-16:00, and after 19:00, and all day during weekends and Bank Holidays, click here to find out more about taking your bike on public transport.

Travelling by air
