Digital Care Hub Cyber Security Workshop: Red vs Blue
Workshop | 10:00 - 11:00
In this interactive, narrative-led session, two presenters face off - one playing the attacker (Red Team), the other the defender (Blue Team). The audience is split into Red/Blue and actively shapes the story: first by deciding where to invest limited cyber resources, then by choosing attack and defence strategies in a simulated scenario.
Set in a fictional organisation, the session walks through the stages of a cyber-attack: from reconnaissance to initial compromise, escalation, impact, and recovery. Each choice made by the audience changes the outcome - highlighting the real-world consequences of prioritisation, policy gaps, and attacker creativity. Who will win. Red or Blue?

Applying the Systems Engineering Initiative for Patient Safety (SEIPS) Framework in Practice

A workshop event that will explain the SEIPS framework to practice, in any sector of health.
Participants will work through a scenario using the SEIPS framework to understand the work system and make system-based changes that will improve patient safety.

Experience Mapping for Human-Centred Digital Health Innovation
Workshop | 10:30 - 11:30
This session will introduce participants to the human-centred design technique of experience mapping. An experience map is a visual tool that explores users’ goals, behaviours and challenges in a particular area. It represents users’ perspectives, revealing unmet needs and opportunities for innovation. It is useful across products and services of any size and complexity, AI included.
Participants will leave having created their own experience maps as part of a group exercise.
Co-design a Toolkit to Build Digital Confidence, Competence, and Excellence in Your Workforce

This one-hour workshop is designed to bring together digital skills educators and leaders to share best practice, collaborate on new approaches, and co-design resources that build digital confidence, competence and excellence in NHS organisations.
Through table discussions, participants will identify effective strategies, explore challenges, and generate actionable tips and resources to boost the digital confidence and competence of people within their organisation.
